Red-winged Blackbird

One of the most abundant birds in my sister’s meadow this year is the Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus). This fella is waiting for his turn at the nearby feeders. He is being unusually polite because most blackbirds just barge in and scare the other birds away from the food.
