Who knew…

I was in Royston today to catch up with SB and L. After lunch we had a wander through the town. I hadn’t realised that Royston had such a history. James 1 apparently stopped here before his coronation and thought the area would be ideal for hunting. He later created a Royal hunting lodge . There are quite a few plaques highlighting what was his estate.
