Getting Ready

A long day at work, but what wonderful weather.
An evening spent taking in cakes, baking, and cutting them up/bagging ready for tomorrows event.  I now literally have a hall full of cakes!!
Further arrangements were being made at the boat house including lots of bunting, getting displays ready etc.
This is all in aid of the Edinburgh Union Canal's 200th Birthday which is being celebrated across the weekend.  Our bit of the canal celebrates today-Friday at 1pm, with a specially composed piece of music being played, and many boats passing through on their way to Linlithgow.  There will be further celebrations further along the canal tomorrow-Saturday.
Now I musn't eat too much cake today........
