Went to see the memorial to Tom Crean, who at the start of the 20th century ventured forth on not one but three voyages to the Antarctic. A couple in extras to give more of the story.
Then on to Tralee and a visit to their fabulous museum, not the biggest, but well set out and staffed by some very welcoming and helpful staff. After lunch in a park (when it of course rained) we took in town and had drinks before it was time to take Tony to the airport for his early flight home. Having dropped Tony off for his flight David and I rejoined the others back in Dingle. Could be a quiet night or a different Folk night! last nights duo also in extras.
