Bert is almost 12

This is my cat Bert. We have had him for about twelve years and, according to my mother, he should have died at least a year ago. But he stays alive in sheer spite of her. He is injured lately and start to show his age with a gimp in his step and a difficulty holding his bladder. Maybe he is revoking that spite thing and getting ready to check out? God I ope not :(
He reminds me of Rufus the cat from that movie The Rescuers. Not so much at this angle though.
