Hope and Heritage

I was going to Blip this yesterday but ran out of time.  It’s a statue I was looking for around 10 years ago, and then again 2 or 3 years ago for the ArtUk Sculpture Project.
Its called Heritage and Hope and features a father dressed in traditional working clothes sending his young daughter into a hopeful future.
I now know that it was vandalised and removed nearly 20 years ago and ended up in a foundry in Leith.  It  was recently tracked down and returned to a shopping centre near its original location.
I found it impossible to photograph properly as its in an empty shop behind glass with problem lighting and reflections.  Hopefully it will be easier when they find a permanent home for it.
