Completing the circle

Yesterday I processed my latest UPP folio, so to complete the circle and return it to the circle secretary I had a trip into town to the PO. The folio has now completed the circle.

When the town centre was redeveloped many years ago a fountain with some gaudy flamingos, not that tasteful, though of the era and also a handy place to tell children to go to if they became separated from their parents.

It was a shame when updating the centre led to them being removed, eventually this homage to them was made with the art work above their old home, but not the same as it the murals can't be used as a meeting place as easily now.
