Tea Leaf Tackles Footballer

Lovely to see half a dozen ducklings on the lake this morning, I've included them to make my pic more blip-friendly. My image is of a striped slender robberfly which has caught a footballer hoverfly. 

I checked on my blue tits this afternoon and was privileged to see two of them taking their maiden flights. How wonderful that I turned up at just the right time. My first extra pic was taken at 16 16 38 as the little bird is poised to take off. The second extra was taken at 16 16 39. Unfortunately it is out of focus. It's amazing how quickly the young birds made themselves scarce.
