Guildford Cathedral

My wife and I went to a concert at Guildford Cathedral this evening given by the Cathedral choir accompanied on the organ, piano, harp and percussion. The second half of the concert was given over to a performance of The Gift of Life by John Rutter and conducted by the maestro himself. It was a very moving work, a celebration of life that was even more meaningful in these troubling times, and excellently performed by the choir and musicians. The cathedral, a modern building that sits atop a hill overlooking Guildford and is next to the University of Surrey, looked splendid in the evening sunshine.
