All a bit rushed today with another set of international deadlines to meet. With my 50th birthday on Sunday I can't help wondering how my student self would feel if I could travel back in time and tell him that thirty years later he would still be using up the midnight oil to churn out 3000 words

I suppose he would take some comfort form the knowledge that the skills developed in writing philosophy essays have proved immensely useful in the business world.
