Snow Sports Parade

There was a parade of the local snow sports competitors along the streets of Wanaka today.  Between them there were 31 Podium finishes on the global stage, with 16 of these being gold medals or top spots in International competition.  

In this photo are some of the young people who did extremely well in their various snow sport events.  The extra is of the supporters who joined in the fun.

After breakfast I went to church via 'zoom'.  The hymn for today is "Praise the Name of the Lord Our God.'

It will be a nice day for our walk tomorrow, we will drive to John Creek, and walk along the cliffs above Lake Hawea.
