Museum Day

A reprieve from our long bike ride yesterday….today we rest and prepare for our bike tour. After packing our panniers, we play tourist and visit museums. Sometimes the coolest art is on the street. Between our visits to the Rocca Albornoz a Duke’s palace fort, now a museum with Medieval art and the Palazzo Collicola now a modern art gallery we walked past some graffiti art on a door in one of those narrow, cobbled alleys. Extras: Madonna & Bambino, 14th c wood sculpture, anon. (Rocca); Flowering Mimosa Trees, 20th c oil by Enzo Brunori (Collicola).
