A walk up a Maunga

For a change this morning we joined eight others from our Tuesday morning group on a walk from Orakei to Mount St John (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Saint_John_(New_Zealand)). From the top we could see five other Maungas - Rangitoto, One Tree Hill, Mount Eden, Mount Wellington and Mount Hobson. It was lovely to get out for a walk in the fresh air.

After we had finished our walk up and down Mount St John we went for coffee and a nibble at a lovely café called Hello Friends and Allies, which has quite quirky decorative features. By the time we arrived back at the car we had walked 11kms.

The main blip shows the six Maungas - Mount St John being the one with the walkers. The extra shows views of the café and a rather beautiful Hibiscus we saw on our way back to the car.
