We planned to go to Hersheypark's new restaurant, the Chocolatier, and then enter the park to ride coasters. I made a reservation for the patio seating two days ago. When we got there, they did not have patio seating. They said it was too hot, so that's why the patio was closed. It's never been open when we've visited.

I was frustrated. I'm starting to think the patio is there for decoration. I don't feel comfortable eating indoors during a pandemic. Especially at a place with no distancing. So we left the park and went to a brewery down the street. That food was excellent. So was the beer.

We were going to enter the park to ride, but a severe thunderstorm came in. Instead, we found a nearby Target and shopped. I bought a new wallet since my wallet was falling apart. On the drive there, we saw a sign that said "No buses or limos." We looked up what that was and found out it was a winery. So we went there after Target.

This photo is from the winery. We each got a tasting of three wines, then we sat around and enjoyed the cooler weather. The storm, which had now passed, dropped the temperature by about 20 degrees F (12 C). It felt good to sit outside and sip wine.
