Burn 27

My dad bless him is now looking for bricks for me. I asked him to look out for a BOLDON one, which he has found for me in a skip. He also found this one in the same skip. It seems that this was made by the Burn Fireclay Co. Of Stobswood, Northumberland some where between 1860 and 1990.

I’ve had a great day ticking things off our to do list, hedge cut, garden debris taken to the tip, pavement cleared of weeds out side our house, farm shop done, peas and kale planted, one compost heap half emptied, knitted goods dispatched, new baby present sent, patchwork blocks posted, Reggie walked, recycling (recycle4goodcauses) bagged up and sent.

It feels good!
