Vine Maple ..... I think

I loved the vibrant spring green of the leaves but sadly I couldn't get close enough to the plant because there are seven foot railings surrounding one of my favourite areas in the Pollok gardens.

The railings are there as a safety precaution while the rebuilding of the courtyard and stables is underway. The guy putting up the railing panels said that they were to be there for four years so guess that I will just have to continue poking my camera through the spaces.
