Torryvald

If yesterday was "samhach" then today was "trang".

I headed over to the Hermitage in Dunkeld this morning with local walking group where we followed the Inver Trail . The weather was kind to us and we made our way through the woods to Pine Cone Point with its fine views towards Pitlochry to be greeted by a low flying plane on  manoeuvres- quite a sight but not enough time to get camera out.  We then made our way down to the Tay taking a look at  Torryvald  Folly and stopped by Niel Gow's oak for lunch.  The woods were lovely and one of the group was knowledgeable about wild flowers and told us about the different ones we were seeing - really interesting.

I then enjoyed a coffee on our swing seat before heading to my desk for my Gaelic class. We have moved onto the past tense which is good.

Drawing class beckons after an early tea.
