Wipeout

How I feel after getting home from Alexandra Headlands taking some surf photos at the protected beach and turning on the TV to see yet another school massacre in the USA. It is just unbelievable as a Psychologist who has worked in schools for many years (Regional Guidance Officer). One of my roles was "Critical Incident Debriefing" after tragedies involving school communities. It has sure activated my Mirror Neurons  (the basis of empathy). Fortunately my role never involved gun violence as it just so rare in Australia (especially schools). The blip shows a surfer at the moment of wipeout. The water is very "dirty" from water runoff again after weeks of rain.
