Wood anemone

They are surprisingly abundant here on the forest floor. I didn’t know, because we always came here at the end of the summer, to pick huckleberries. Wonderful time exploring the forest. We could not drive up very far before running into snow. Many trails and roads are still a mess after the winter. WiFi connection is sketchy.
