It's Here!

Yesterday London got a new rail line. Originally called Crossrail it has now been officially named the Elizabeth line and its colour on the tube and rail map of London is purple. This line when totally finished, will cover more than 100 kilometres from east to west and is expected to transport 200 million customers a year.
M and l took a ride on the 200 metre long train yesterday morning, we went from Liverpool Street station to Abbey Wood in the southeast of London both below ground and above.
Extras include one of the huge new platforms and escalators and one of the passengers enjoying the ride.
