Prebbleton moos

I've had the joy of biking to and from work today. Not the whole way, such is the distance from home to work on the edge of Chistchurch's CBD.

Too many dangerous rural roads not built for cars and bikes, and it's too dark and cold. A 29km round trip of mostly cycle pathways suits my safety comfort zone.

On my return trip I stopped to talk to the moos and to watch the last of the light on the southern end of the Port Hills and the start of Banks Peninsula. Behind me traffic zoomed down the southern motorway.

Today's gratitude: For the joy and freedom of a bike ride.
