View to the ferry.

A day that calmed. So, one for Eriskay.
The wet morning dried throughout the afternoon. We stopped at Flora MacDonald’s House (extra photo); there’s a monument to her - she assisted Bonnie Prince Charlie to escape to the Isle of Skye in 1846. I’ve read a fair bit about him; some old record publications as well as modern interpretations. And seen the biscuit tin banter.

We’d a cuppa at the Eriskay causeway. Always like this spot. Eriskay is lovely. There’s more to it than the Barra ferry.
