Wall flowers

Not Wallflowers (Erysimum). But flowers and plants which grow on walls.
There are not many fences or brick walls in our village. But everywhere you look there are stonewalls. And lots of them are a real picture in May.
It is quite remarkable how many wild flowering plants adapt to grow on the walls. Their roots are able to penetrate the tiny cracks between the limestone rocks and the mortar and they find the rainwater which trickles in there too.
Here is just one example of many I found this morning. The yellow is a Spurge ( Cypress Spurge I think) and the little fern which is very common is Maidenhair Spleenwort.
