The Lion of Scotland

Robert Rae’s sculpture was at Holyrood for a number of years but was moved to St Andrews Square in 2010 for what was meant to be just a few years.

I remember these sculptures being discussed by the Parliaments Culture committee in the first years of the Parliament and their relationship to the Roman Cramond Lion being part of their origins but what was once controversial is now admired by the many people who pass by it each day .
