Stairway to Heaven

The Wilhelmina Mountain is the largest remaining in the Netherlands mine rock waste. The Wilhelmina mine closed in 1969. With the presence of Snow World and the long staircase with the mountain vantage point has been a recreational destination.

The staircase is said to be the longest outdoor staircase of the Netherlands. She counts 508 steps, is 248 meters long and spans 75 meters. Upwards, the stairs more narrow (below 12 meters wide, over 2 meters wide). This enhances the optical effect of height and length.

At the top is a viewing platform made ??(altitude about 225 meters NAP).
