Matthew Bird, artist

Today I went to Lillishall with my art group to the international Watercolour Masters Exhibition.  There were paintings from artists from all over the world and were really varied and some fantastic work. 

There were also demonstrations from some of the painters.  This is Matthew Bird who is an American painter.  We watched him paint this picture (he had done some of it already because of the time constraint), such a clever artist and beautiful painting although it's not really my favourite style.

We went for a pub meal afterwards before coming back.
