first look

I was mostly trying to keep the children from running about and poking things when we viewed the house, so I can't remember what I thought about the decoration in what is the living room but which might be eventually better as a bedroom. There was a wire heading away from this which turned out to re-emerge from beneath the carpet and into a plug socket, which lit up two wee side-nooks in the pretend fireplace. With this out of the way, there's enough room for all the furniture which was previously in our living-room, but there'd definitely be enough space for the bed and suchlike and the window is smaller and therefore easier to cover with opaque curtains than the large bay window in what has been set up as the bedroom but which might turn back into a living-room. Unfortunately, this was still a living-room when the technician from the internet arrived at eight in the morning, so it's the room round to which the internet wire trails to around the outside of the house from beside the front door, next to which is the other potential living -room. It's not so much the transmission of the internet (which is likely to need boosting no matter where the router sits) as the need for the NAS, which is noisier than the router, to be ethernetically connected thereto.
