Creation

Snatched a photo of the cake made for a colleague’s birthday this morning before a quiet office day with a series of annual reviews and 1-2-1 meetings. Managed a quick walk at lunchtime in lovely spring sunshine but with quite a wind. After work had a catch up with CMB who had super exciting news after her return from trip to USA. She was certainly in the room where it all happened and promises exciting days ahead.
Home and A&N had a quick supper before heading to a surprise treat I’d got them…going to see the dog behaviour specialist from the ‘Dogs behaving badly’ TV series who was doing an evening’s talk at the Queen’s Hall. Didn’t think they’d be out long but I gave up and went to bed before they stumbled home…suspect they had a few wee drinks somewhere on the (short!) walk home!
Chatted to Mt about him coming up with the kids. Seems he won’t be coming Friday as planned but Sunday as AR has a scouts adventure day on Sunday that they’d booked ages ago and forgotten about. Shame, as I’d hoped to take them to a medieval fayre that’s on at the weekend but can’t be helped. At least it meant I didn’t have to panic about getting everywhere ready this evening.
