The day after the day after the storm

Dow's Lake was unsurprisingly empty when Mrs. Ottawacker took Ottawacker Jr. for a quick kayak this morning. The leftovers of the storm were still pretty much in evidence - branches everywhere and a certain muddy quality to the water. Nonetheless, a good time was had, the kayak did not tip over, and the waterproof bag did its job after it had been dropped into the canal.
