no fun

Nelly’s brought her ‘dead’ Boomer ball inside for some reason. It’s no fun any more - it doesn’t roll, it doesn’t even sound the same when she drops it, and she can pick it up when she shouldn’t be able to. I’ve ordered her another one that’s due today but last time she had a new one it took her a while to get used to it as it was too shiny, too blue, too clean, and didn’t smell the same. The transition from one Boomer ball to another is always a difficult time for Nelly….
