from the community garden - after the snowstorm last - week it appeared - that many of - the new flowers - coming up in the - garden (mostly tulips) - at this point - in the season - might have been - decimated by the - heavy snow which - fell all weekend long - but in fact - the early snow acted as - a buffer or layer - of protection for - the dear little sprouts - and flowers already - blooming or about to

this pair of red - have very little damage - and you’d never - realize they’d just been - buried by 11 inches - of wet heavy snow - only a week ago - just goes to show - how resilient nature - can be and it’s - that tiny nugget - which is making this…
