BCSplash - More fireworks.

It's Friday night in some places and already Saturday in others!
Wherever you may be in the world it's now #BCSplash time!

This week we chose this action packed photo by Jensphotos who lives in Newcastle, Australia. We loved the light, the freezing of the waves as they splash over the wall, the people in the shot and so little "noise" despite the camera being set at ISO 1600. That Nikon D810 certainly handles the low light superbly!

Jen has been with us for a long time with more than 4,000 entries on her journal. Her work is of a very high standard and, although there is quite a mix of photos, her love of the sea is so obvious. If you don't already follow Jen, make sure you go along and say "hello".

Extra!
You know by now that we put a lot of thought into choosing the weekly #BCSplash and this week was no exception. 
You may not have realised but this particular image is a BCSplash first, in that, as far as we can remember, we've never featured an extra before!

We know there's a mix of members who use the free service and those who choose to pay the annual membership, however those who do pay get a few extra whistles and bells to play with.

This includes the ability to add up to one hundred extra photos each year, detailed statistics, the option to give up to five favourites each day as well as the knowledge your membership helps to fund the continued sustainable running of the community.
