POPPIES GALORE

The vegetable garden has been taken over by these giant poppies this year.  I think they look much prettier than lettuce gone to seed!!

The patch on the other side is a mixture of strawberries, raspberries and some flowers.

The garden is looking fantastic and with the lavender bushes about to burst forth the bees will be very happy.

Our close is having a Queen's garden party next weekend so everyone is putting bunting up and tidying their front gardens.  I just hope it doesn't rain!!
