Goldie

It's been a lovely day here in South Devon and while we were sitting on the deck enjoying the day we noticed a huge plume of smoke rising over the horizon and we thought somebody was having a big fire. We heard later that a £6 million superyacht had burst into flames in Torquay marina. Not a good day for somebody but I as far as I understand it everyone has been accounted for. It's far enough away to not affect us.

A little Goldfinch was singing its heart out and I thought it would be rude not to get a camera and take his picture. He was very obliging and moved to another place where the sun was falling on him even better. I'm not great with wildlife (to say the least) but I'm quite pleased with this one.
