Foxgloves

A lady round the corner has been growing some magnificent foxgloves outside her front door. Basil and I trotted round this afternoon to take a closer look.

Drove to Thorpe Acre in Loughborough this morning in the hope of meeting my cousin Denise. We've lived this close all these years and never yet met face to face. We sat and chatted outside while she was minding her yard sale and had a cuppa. I hope that we can meet up again at intervals in the future.
