goodbye autumn

right on cue, the rains have started. 
To be honest, the cue to rain should really have been last night, when the chumps from next door were having one of their very regular parties. Horrible music and drunken hooting and hollering are their MO. 
A downpour and high winds would have been a grateful gift.
