Golden balls

The lovely buddleia globosa in S’s mum’s garden had to be my blip today, since I prefer it to the pub draped in bunting that was my only other photo. As you can see it was a lovely sunny afternoon and the bees were having a party on the bush.

We went to the nice pub in Osmotherley for lunch. It was not draped in bunting, but as it’s Sunday they were only doing traditional Sunday lunch instead of the more interesting and lighter dishes they have during the week. Puddings were nice though! Once again they didn’t have the best treacle tart ever on the menu, but I wouldn’t have had room for it anyway. A lemon posset went down nicely.
