It was worth it

LFC didn't get a parade for winning the Premier League two years ago. In the meantime, more silverware has been added to the shelf, including the womens’ team winning the Championship.

I ended up having to listen to last night's match on the radio in the car at the wedding. It was uncomfortable, not only for the result, but for the behaviour of the French Police and sheer incompetence of UEFA. I know they didn't have masses of time to plan, but they've done this before and they should know what to expect. Seems they didn't. Which beggars credulity. More lies and obfuscation will follow.

That seemed to have been forgotten, at least for today. I missed all the atmosphere yesterday, but in some ways today was a decent substitute. I wasn't planning on missing this one.

There needs to be a proper post mortem, but the seeds have already been sown that it was the fans to blame. When in fact it was anything but. Once again it will all get batted off and we'll just sit and wait for a repeat.
