Old Tree

The 52frames challenge for this week is to be inspired by a photographer. I chose to have the photographer selected for me, and their random name generator came up with Beth Moon. She spent 14 years traveling the world to document the oldest, largest, and rarest trees. The resulting images were then published in the book Ancient Trees: Portraits Of Time. I decided to create this monochrome infrared image of an old tree as a homage to her work.
