Orange Ball Tree

Buddleja globosa, the 'Orange Ball Tree' (actually it's more of a shrub) in flower for the first time in our back garden.

It's been quite a wait to see this in flower: we bought the plant more than 11 months ago on a visit to Standen at the end of June last year. There were no signs of any flowers on it at the time, and as a young plant it's quite likely that it didn't actually flower at all that year.

Still, it's been well worth the wait!
