Live it loud!

The boss

Had to pass on a great image for today. Photography forbidden... Shame really as it would have contravened no privacy issues.

Instead, having filled up the bird feeder with dried meal-worms, I sat for a while (in the rain at times I might add) in order to capture some of the usual chaos that normally ensues as soon as meal-worms are provided. Today, the birds resolutely refused to come and empty the feeder. It normally takes less than an hour for the whole lot to go. The extra is also of the robin which was one of the few to partake this delicacy.

It used to be advised not to feed birds during the summer, but, that advice has now changed - . Recommended to not feed peanuts and fat balls during the spring when chicks are being fed. Even when we put fat balls out in winter, the birds round us simply ignore them. Picky lot!
