Sparrow on a wire

They are very busy at the moment feathering their nests going back and forth, on Sunday night we saw the recently fledged Robin. This one sits on the wire and looks right into my office window trying to engage me in a staring competition. If batty cat is around she sings to them in that funny cat voice of hers 

Walking this evening listening to Dervla Murphy on audible - annoyed at myself for getting distracted by texts coming in and disturbing my time for me - marvelled at nature's corridors being opened up on the hill as the mower weaves paths for the human allowing the insects their homes to grow
