Lilacs

I took a picture of one of the squirrels this morning. They are shedding and it looks like it's wearing pants... but I've been smelling the lilacs wafting around for the past week and really wanted a lilac picture today. The sky also cooperated. We have a really big, old lilac hedge on the west side of the farmhouse. I'm sure it was planted there years ago. There is a lot of dead bits on it but it still produces lovely blooms. We've transplanted small lilacs all around the place that seem to be doing well.
My back is still a bit tender but better. Today I got some tomatoes and beans planted. I still have melons, corn and marigolds to get to but that will have to wait until next weekend.
