A beautiful day with no wind on land but enough at sea for leisure sailors to enjoy their hobby.

The magnificent Poppy, so splendid for the past week or so, finally dropped its petals overnight, but in its wake are several more plump poppy buds shortly to burst forth to reveal their own magnificent scarlet splendour.

My beautiful Aeoniums (Kiwi and Swartzkopf) are my pride and joy, requiring so very little attention all year round. And in our garden a precious little gnome, a long time member of our family, stands overlooking all that unfolds before of him.

And while the garden basks in the warm Spring sunshine the sea deepens its colour and a few boats transverse its calm waters.
