Taken' a Break

Mississippi Kite on a high perch. A cousin of the Swallowtail Kites, these handsome raptors visit us for their breeding season, May-July. Like the Swallow-tailed Kites, they hunt on the wing and are really beautiful when they soar just above the tree tops in search of prey.

"The meaning of things lies not in the things themselves, but in our attitude towards them."
__Antoine de Saint-Exupery
