Reed Warbler

Thrilled to catch this shot of a reed warbler as it flitted between the reeds at the local nature reserve. It also obliged me with a few poses out in the open, but I'm on a run of in-flight shots, and need to keep it going, if I'm going to get anywhere near 50 species in the year. I also managed to fluke a shot of the moment it caught a morsel of lunch.

On the subject of species counting: it turns out that the reed warbler is the 100th different bird that I have blipped.

Birds in Flight: 17/50 - Reed Warbler
