My visit with the medical oncologist today went well and everything is looking good at this point.  I'll need to return in December for a visit with him and a mammogram.  He was agreeable to my foregoing the endocrine therapy.

Unfortunately, I feel nearly as weak today as I did yesterday, which was a total washout.  I'm afraid that I've reached a turning point in my disease at which dialysis may be the only option for me to feel alive.  Tomorrow I will be contacting the vascular surgeon about having the fistula enlargement surgery soon, rather than three months from now.  My next EPO shot will be on Thursday and I hope I can hold up until then.  These little blossoms are from large bushes in front of the SCCA building.
