Lichen & moss.

We managed to go for a good walk this afternoon between the rain shows, to give the pups some exercise and us too. Saw this lichen on the side of the bank, there are lots of different ones. I can see I am going to have to get myself a book on mosses and lichens, so I can start naming them.
We've had 102 mls of rain since it started about 4 days ago. Nice steady rain that soaks into the ground rather than run off.
