BANKING

This was todays task…getting them all a bank account. I have to applaud the man in HSBC who was not only helpful but extremely kind and empathetic to their situation. Like a lot of things it wasn’t straightforward as technology was a hiccup. However this bank had got it sorted for Ukrainians and eventually we succeeded.
I tutored this evening and Oksana taught a student Online who has been displaced to Germany. Sadly her school has now severed her pay despite her continuing online teaching and she’s now having pay a friend to write the reports for each pupil which can’t be done online but only at the school.
We all enjoyed BGT together with a G&T this evening. All good.
