Got me bunting up today.

Lots of the neighbours are also putting up flags etc so it should look good for Friday. Street Party, bring your own lunch.

Happy 1st of June. Today has been really nice, reasonably warm too. Hope it stays like this.

Lots of things going off locally, there is a scarecrow festival Friday to Sunday and a big family Party in the Park on Sunday on the local playing fields. 
Then there is the Beacon lighting tomorrow night on what is locally known as Cheaney Basin which is the sight of a  lookout point.  There have been signs of a motte and bailey castle found on the mound. You can see quite a long way from up there. I hear there is going to be singing and food as well.

I will have to see if I can get a blip of the post box with it's crown on top tomorrow, it looks great.
